Our shared journey began in a garden
Quintessential Brass came together through our shared love of music, initially performing in Tim's garden. We are all local musicians, and our paths have crossed in various orchestras and musical endeavours over the years. Simon and David even had the pleasure of performing together at the Royal Albert Hall over 50 years ago, highlighting the deep-rooted connections within our group.
Meet the talented individuals
Our ensemble features a wealth of talent. Simon Davie expertly plays the trumpet, while Alison Davidson brings her skill to both the trumpet and flugelhorn. Clive Steady enriches our sound with the French horn, Ian Cox provides the warm tones of the trombone, and David Richards grounds our melodies with the tuba. Each member brings a unique voice to Quintessential Brass.
